My Story

I was born and grew in Ivory Coast. The African Print Wax, our typical hand-woven cloths often associated with sophistication, has always been a cornerstone of my life. I literally grew up in the Wax carried in the back of my aunties. As any little African girl, in a way – but with something special – as one of my aunties owns a Wax warehouse in Abidjan.

More than a fabric, Wax was a enchantment in my childhood: I loved its smell, its warmth, its colours and the funny names Ivoirians use to give its diverse types, such as «If you go out, I leave home”, “open the door”, “Millionaire”. Wax print has « bercé » mon enfance, and is part of my best souvenirs.

How it all begann -My dream to make the world more colorful

My commitment to make women´s routine life, a celebration.

After traveling around the world for a while, I settled down a couple of years in Paris, where I started to purchase and mix trendy wax clothes, progressively building my personal style. I then moved to Zurich, for family matters. There, I got used to go walking through the Bahnhofstrasse, admiring the “fashion shows” of the branded and pricey parade of the crowd. But something was missing, something to light up all this sophisticated grey and black: colours.

First Collection

50 Shades of Colors

That was  my precious sign. I decided to share my love for colours, fabrics and happiness. I started to pencil my first collection 2017, 100% handmade cotton:  50 shades of colours…

I never learned nor was trained about wax: it is and has always been part of my life and soul.

Aiming to create at my best with my roots, offering ways to colour-up your life.
